    This process can involve:

  • Initial interview and observation
  • Assessment of strengths and challenges
  • Recommendations for development needs and improvement strategies
  • Goal setting
  • Accountability and process support
  • Follow-up sessions by phone and in person
  • Ongoing progress review
  • Reevaluation

    Diversity Leadership Coaching for Managers:

Do you have people in your organization who have been promoted to management because they are good at what they do, but not because they know how to manage people? Do they focus on simply getting tasks done, but lack the skills to help their team be self-reliant and make their own decisions? Are they locked into micro-managing the present and don't know how to plan for future success? Do you have middle managers and line supervisors who need to learn to balance day to day operations, accountability, and longer term strategy?

Our coaching process recognizes effective managers have to know how to lead their team, and create employee buy-in towards achieving the mission, vision, and goals of the organization. To lead, they must be able to develop mutual respect and trust to create an environment where everyone is included and able to contribute fully to the organization. They need to be skilled in listening, influencing, and giving and getting feedback in order to get the results they need from their team.

We work with managers to build on their existing strengths, and become aware of their challenges. They will learn and implement new skills to become team leaders who can teach other members of their team. Managers will be able to create relationships amongst people on their team to improve productivity and make their own decisions.

    This process can involve:

  • Initial interview and observation
  • Assessment of strengths and challenges
  • 360 degree feedback
  • Recommendations for development needs and improvement strategies
  • Goal setting
  • Accountability and process support
  • Follow-up sessions by phone and in person
  • Ongoing progress review
  • Reevaluation
